Comprehensive Dentistry
Comprehensive dentistry focuses on the patient’s overall health. This includes education, alternative treatment options where available, preventative care and ongoing periodic evaluations.
Crowns/Bridges
A crown is used a permanent covering for a tooth that has been fractured or has cracks. A bridge is one option used to replace missing teeth whereby the adjacent teeth are used to secure a pontic (fake tooth). These are not removable.
Implant Restoration
An implant restoration is an alternative to using a bridge to replace a missing tooth. After the patient has had the implant placed by a surgical specialist, we are able to place a crown on that implant giving it the appearance and function of a normal tooth.
Cosmetic Veneer and Bonding
Cosmetic Veneer and Bonding services are used to repair and enhance the teeth’s appearance, usually using porcelain. Bonding closes spaces, aligns teeth and repairs fractured teeth.
Composite Bonding
Composite bonding uses a bonded resin that is the same color as the tooth. It is used to restore decayed teeth or defective old silver fillings, giving the teeth a more natural appearance. It can also be used to close spaces or restore problematic teeth
Bleaching
We use a customized teeth bleaching tray system to remove deep intrinsic stains and make teeth look young and bright again.
Conventional and Implant Dentures
We offer both conventional dentures and implant dentures. Conventional dentures are the traditional artificial teeth that are held in place using an oral adhesive. Implant dentures utilize multiple implants to anchor the denture, giving a more secure fit.
Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMD/TMJ) Therapy
Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJ) are a group of complex problems with the jaw joint. We offer customized splints (mouth pieces) to stabilize the bite and create a more optimal joint environment for the joints to heal. In rare occasions, patients may need consultation with an oral maxillofacial surgeon.
Conscious Sedation
Many of our patients are anxious about receiving dental treatment. We are able to offer various forms of relaxation including conscious sedation. The patient is not asleep, but the safe medications we provide place the patient in a state where they are not fully aware of the dental procedure being performed. This gives the patients peace of mind with little to no after-effects.
Sealants
Dental sealants are a dental treatment for our preteen and teenage patients as a preventative measure against cavities and tooth decay.
Partial Dentures
Sometimes our patients do not need full dentures because some of the natural teeth remain. A partial denture attaches to these remaining teeth to provide anchorage for the restoration.
